HABA USA a distribution facility based in Skaneateles, NY, was acquired with Habermaass’ 1980 purchase of T.C.Timber, a business known for its high-quality wooden trains and block sets.
Today, HABA prides itself on the fact that children love playing with its toys, blissfully unaware of how this fosters their development. That’s the stamp of approval the company appreciates the most, but it has been recognized by the grown-up world as well: The company’s products have been bestowed honors by virtually every German toy award and many prestigious American ones, as well.
The company has grown slowly and deliberately, and now is a major force in Germany and the USA specialty stores market. You won't find these items at the mass markets!
